Amanda R asked: My husband and I have a turbulent credit history. Some of which we really could have done without, however some was absolutely necessary. We have paid everything off other than my student loans that have not entered repayment because I am still in school. Although we do try to pay the interest every month and make larger payments once in a while on the balance. So aside from that we are debt free. The problem now is that our scores are still below 600. How can we get them up quickly without having to open a bunch of credit cards?

Pepper asked: I am currently a college student with 2 checking accounts (Wamu- 3 years & BOA- 1 year) and 1 credit card (Citi- 1 year). I have always met the requirements for my checking accounts and paid all my credit card bills on time. As for loans, I do have about $10,000 of student loans in debt. I was wondering if it is okay for me to get another credit card. Also, many say that having a lot of credit cards are bad for you. What is the reccomendation of how many bank accounts and credit cards should I have so that my credits would not go down? Thanks in advance!

Pantsguy asked: I do own my own home but am still paying off my mortgage. My son needs more money for college and we’ve tapped out on student loans and my credit cards are all maxed. I was wondering what I could do and thought that a home equity loan with bad credit might be an option. I don’t know if it’s a good idea though.

My fiancee and I are interested in buying a house, but we both have bad credit and between the two of us we only make 50k a year. What options do we have? We just signed a year lease at our old place, but are hoping to buy a house around this time next year. Ideas? Please no spam.
My credit score is around 500. Together my fiancee and I have about $5000 in debt, not including student loans. We do not have any credit cards that we use (most of the debt is charged off credit card debt).

I want a private student loan (not fafsa) but I have bad credit and no cosigner. I was wondering if there is a good company to go through that will give me student loans.
