Acrow asked: I just finished college, and work full time. I have a debit card, and building good credit from paying off loans. A lot of people have been telling me to get a credit card, but I wonder if it really is necessary. Please give me some good reasons to get a credit card other than building good credit. The only other advantage I know about is those point-system/rewards credit cards, that earn you miles or other things. And what is the best credit card to get for a first time credit card holder? The number of choices are a little overwhelming. How did you choose your first/main credit card?

julieann asked: I have a low credit score. Most my bad credit is old credit. I have a bunch of little loans from finance companies, but they charge really high interest rates. I would like to get a loan for about $5000 to $6000 to pay these off and have one payment that would be lower.

Ryan J asked: My job requires me to travel frequently and each employee has their own company credit card to use for these expenses. Due to a merger, however, we will no longer have “company” cards and we have to get our own “personal” credit card to use for expenses and get reimbursed later starting next month. I have very bad credit, however, and do not qualify for my own card. If I can’t travel, I lose my job. I don’t know what to do. Looked into all the cards for bad credit, but they are all secured cards with very low limits and very high fees.
Ok, everyone keeps giving me links to websited that offer cards with limits of $200-$300 with setup fees of hundreds of dollars–trust me, I have looked at ALL of those options already. What I am really looking for is a “normal” credit card with a limit of $2000-$3000. I know I can’t qualify for one of those by myself, but I am wondering if it is possible WITH A COSIGNER. I don’t know if cosigners are even an option for credit cards. I know they are for loans, but I do not know if credit card companies accept cosigners.

Zr0DFect asked: Seeing that bad credit history hugely relies on your utility bills, I have missed out a couple of payments before, which I know is entirely my fault.
But i’m scared that in the future, getting loans will be harder to approve. I’m only 20 as of now and i’m not looking forward to the future.
Is there anyway that I can improve my credit history back to it’s default from a bad history?

gebjess asked:
I had some trouble with credit cards in the past and it’s all catching up with me now. I would like to get a loan to pay off all of my debt so I can start fresh again. I have a full-time job and I just want to get my credit back on track. It’s not that easy when you have bad credit, because nobody will approve you for a loan. Are there any places that give loans to people like me?
