Jess T asked: Hi,
Im just after a straightforward answer to my question, if there is one:
What looks worse on your credit record, a default on a couple of credit cards, that have been paid off over 2years since the default, or several late payments and arrears on credit cards (im talking upwards of 10) but since that blip, all payments made on time for the next 2 years
Thanks for all your help

Janie asked: When I turned 18 I knew I needed credit cards to grow credit. When I reached the $500 limit on my first card and the $2000 limit on my new card when I found that this was not good for my credit. I hear that as long as you don’t spend more than half of the available balance your credit will be fine. Is this true?

kaley asked: I am trying to raise my credit score quickly. Right now I am at 593-around 650 depending on agency. So, by paying off the 5 credit cards that I currently have(some with amounts ranging from 1,500-2,500), should that raise my credit score a great deal? If not, will a credit repair company help or are they just a scam?

Bryce asked: I always thought at 18 they love to give you credit cards, I’ve tried Capitol One, Chase, a QT credit card, and a Best Buy one. All deny due to no credit history. I obviously can’t get Credit history if they won’t let me have credit. I Work 2 jobs and just want to have one just in case and to actually build my credit. What’s going on and why do i keep getting denied?

v asked: I’m a student with bad credit. Is there anyway to get a $10,000 loan? I have 3 credit cards and they’re all maxed out. What I wanna do is get a loan and pay the creditors so all I have to worry about is paying one payment a month rather than worrying about 3.

aidan_adore asked: I am 3 months behind a credit card payment and they sent me a letter stating they were going to write it off as a bad debt. What does this mean? Do I have the payment still. I am confused as to what this entails.
