Credit Repair Help

I am trying to repair my credit by sending debt settlement letters to the collections agencies listed on my credit report, but they are not being cooperative. Most are saying they CANNOT settle the debt nor are they willing to delete the listing from my credit report after the debt had been paid. I don’t trust any of these non profit credit counselors, but I need some guidance. I am begining to lose hope that this is even worth the trouble. Any advise?

I applied for 3 credit cards at the same time almost 2 years ago. Wholly obtained Maxedia out and I never paid at all of them after a while and have been sent to collections. I paid off one, but it didn 't seem to help at all in terms of sign. By paying off the other help? I must raise my sign, but if paying out of won 't help him I' d rather wait until it has a good job of paying deposit. Are now on the phone with one of the people of accreditation at the moment of writing, but I need assistance on what to do as soon as possible! Please help!
