I was in a similar situation. Had no credit, tried to apply for a bunch of cards got denied b/c I had no credit history ...
So after numerous trial & errors I was able to find a Card offered by Citibank that allows anyone to be approved (w/ no Credit)!

I'm a college student & was looking for a card w/ benefits too... and the card I got has a rewards program & they reduce your APR when you constantly pay on time & have no annual fees or other B.S.

& You will need to put you have some sort of income, either from a Job or other sources.... b/c if you say you don't have any annual income, they will likely NOT approve you!

See the link below for the card MasterM1ND

Obviously, you need to establish credit.
Most likely, you will need a secured credit card if you are over 18.
Go where you bank and ask if they offer this type of card. You will need a $300 or more deposit to put in an account that becomes your limit. There may also be an annual fee for this card. My Take on It

Another great way to get credit started is to go to a bank or credit union (credit unions) are usually more lenient. Tell them you need to take out a small personal loan like $500, then pay it back if they have you making payments make the payments and make sure they are on time and make sure its the whole payment. This will help build credit quickly and without getting in a hole. Just make sure to only take out a loan for what you know you can pay back and make sure your payments aren't too high. This is how I got my credit going. Good luck!!! Candy

Establishing credit is not difficult. Managing credit is.

There are two ways to establish credit.
1. Go to Walmart or Target or JC Penny or Sears. These large retailers will usually give credit cards to those people who have never had one before. Go to ONE, not all. A lot of times they will have people with clip boards coming up to you to apply... or you can apply online. The interest rates will be high so don't charge anything you can't pay off. Use it and pay it off when the bill comes in, or the next day. Eventually your credit profile will be established and you'll be getting offers for more cards. Be careful read the fine print, don't owe more than 1/3 of your credit limit.

2. Go to a savings bank that offers 'secured credit cards'. This is where you put $500 into a bank account and the bank gives you a credit card with a limit of the amount in your account. Eventually your credit profile is established.

Sorry but this stuff doesn't happen over night. Michael L
