credit problem?

i have not realy extablished my credit, i have 2 credit cards, one $1500 and the other $500. I travelled out of the conutry and before i come back bothe credit has gone on overlimit. Other bills were sent to collection agencies and were all reported on my credit report. I’m ready to pay off all this monies but will it help my credit report? Can i use a lawyer to remove the report from my credit history??

    It will help in the long run to pay them off sooner than later. Unless of course you are speaking of fraudulent charges on your cards..Unless they were fraudulent , a lawyer will not be of any use to you , in this matter. I would instead , find a finiacial adviser. B240

    A lawyer cannot help you unless there are serious errors on your credit report and the credit reporting agency is at fault for the erroneous reports. You will have to pay the collections agencies and credit cards off.

    The reports will stay on your credit records for 7 years after they paid off. Bankruptcy and foreclosures stay on your credit reports for 10 years after discharge. ibu guru
