Credit Repair Help

My credit is not good. It’s bad. I keep getting turned down for apartments in Atlanta. So far I’ve lost $275.00 in application fees trying to get approved at different communities. I do not want to live in dangerous neighborhoods. I am not a criminal and seem like my credit profile is only going to accept me in dangerous areas and I can’t live like that I have a 16mos old daughter. Any suggestions?

I am getting divorced - he is the reason for the debt - never kept a job and we went under. I worked all my life and now my file looks bad. How can you overcome this in trying to find a new apartment?

My credit history is a little sketchy with a few bad months of late credit card payments. I am afraid my potential having bad credit will keep myself and roommates from renting.

If I have bad recent credit history but my 3 roommates have good credit, will I ruin our chances?

I am also a full time student that receives good money from scholarships. we are both in recovery and have over a year clean. But we cant seem to find a place that will rent to us this is driving me crazy.. What do I do.

Is there any hope for my husband and I to buy a house with bad credit? We have terrible credit because of our past. Any bills that we have accumulated since we decided to grow up has been paid, but we haven’t paid any of our old bills. We went to a credit counseling agency and they said that we owe so much money that it would be best for us to just file bankruptcy. We’re afraid that doing that would really keep us from owning our own home one day. I have a credit score of five hundred and something. We are tired of renting. Please help!

My husband and I need to refinance our home to lower our monthly payments. We are paying 9% right now. We both have bad credit. About 4 years ago we started getting behind and couldn’t make credit card payments. It was either pay them or pay our house payment. So I just didn’t pay them. We also have some unpaid medical bills that our insurance didn’t cover after the birth of our daughter. The creditors are always on our backs. In May we will be eligible to refinance our home (we had a prepayment penalty clause in our mortgage agreement). What chance do we have of getting a lower interest rate and lower monthly payments? Any help is greatly appreciated!

My credit is bad but I’m trying to repair it. It will be 5 to 6 years before my crdit is back in good standing. Will I have to wait that long before I can buy a house?

I am trying to get my mom into an apartment but she has very bad credit. She HAS to have an apartment by the end of this week. How do you get approved if you have bad credit? Is there a way around the credit check? Thanks for the advice.
