Credit Repair Help

I applied for a credit card and they rejected my application. They say that “the profile report does not contain any tradelines that have been open for at least 6 months”. Can anybody please explain to me what does it mean?

i have not realy extablished my credit, i have 2 credit cards, one $1500 and the other $500. I travelled out of the conutry and before i come back bothe credit has gone on overlimit. Other bills were sent to collection agencies and were all reported on my credit report. I’m ready to pay off all this monies but will it help my credit report? Can i use a lawyer to remove the report from my credit history??

My husband and I have a turbulent credit history. Some of which we really could have done without, however some was absolutely necessary. We have paid everything off other than my student loans that have not entered repayment because I am still in school. Although we do try to pay the interest every month and make larger payments once in a while on the balance. So aside from that we are debt free. The problem now is that our scores are still below 600. How can we get them up quickly without having to open a bunch of credit cards?

A good credit report is very important for living a comfortable life of financial freedom but it’s difficult to recover fom a bad credit report once you’ve made a few mistakes. Credit repair companies can be helpful, especially if you allow some time for your file to be worked on before you need it completely done.

I have read through a lot of the questions that have already been asked but I have yet to find exactly what I am looking for. I have been slowly but surely paying off some of the items on my credit report, all of which are delinquent by several years. My current credit score according to Experian’s Triple Advantage is a 548, and I would really like to increase my credit score by atleast one hundred points so I can purchase my first home in the very near future. I recently contacted a realtor who pulled my credit report and showed my high end credit as 614, mid of 610, and low of 598. I don’t quite understand why none of these numbers match what I am showing on my active Triple Advantage account, but I was told to wait atleast six more months and try to apply for a home again. I was approved on this attempt, but for $25,000 less than what I need and the interest rate was 7.5%.

If anyone has any advice or words of motivation for me I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks all!

Is there a certain bank or credit card that is easier on people like me that will give me a credit card? And yes–I do plan on paying on time.
