Answer3712 asked: Hi, I checked my credit score and I’m currently at 529 average rating, which is pretty bad. No one ever taught me about money, but now that I’m 29 with 1 reposession, 34,000 in student loans and growing with grad school, and major delinquencies over 180 days past due - I was wondering what can I do to fix my credit score, considering I never had any major credit cards (just like macy’s, or express at low amounts) but other then that, all the debt is non-credit. How do I fix my score? How can I get a debt consolidation loan, or have an accountant or someone go over my reports with me and make a payment plan. Can someone help me with that without charging alot? I’d like to improve my score. Thanks in advance.

Cesar R asked: I was stupid when I was 19 and never paid my pg&e bill when i was living on my own. I’m now 23 and am going to pay off my bill (which is only $58). Because of this though, I’m assuming my credit is horrible. What is the first step I need to take in order to fix my credit.

Stephan asked: The government is shelling out 700 billion dollars to buy the bad loans that are putting the big banks in danger. We are told that the bad loans consist mainly of unpaid mortgages (sub-primes etc). So the government is effectively buying 700 billion dollars of housing. If we estimate the price of one house between 100k$ and 350k$, then the government should be acquiring 2 to 7 million houses. That is, unless we are being misled and that these bad loans were made up of a lot more than just home mortgages…

eyes_rolling09 asked: I heard about Impeccable Credit in the Woodlands on a Channel 39 News special. They promise for a flat rate of 750$ they will repair your credit. The establishment has been there for some time and based on the news report they seemed legit. I would just like to know if anyone has actually used their services and been successful, or is it just too good to be true.

Shira asked: My credit is terrible because my mother has been using my social security number for her needs. When I asked her about it she said “It is a mistake and they must have merged our credit reports.” Is it really possibly that our reports have been merged or is she just trying to cover her tracks? And where can I find a reliable credit repair company?

s a asked: I want to buy my home but my credit score is 446 so I have been referred to a credit repair agency for help. But because I have so many outstanding debts, some very old & some new, the estimated price for their service is $1200. Yes, I have tried this process on my own but it takes too long, Should I just go ahead & pay for their service so I can buy my home?

hawaiianbbq88 asked: I was checking my credit report and noticed that I had a collection account for some medical procedure that was done in 2007. I don’t recall ever receiving a bill or anything from them and their office is closed down now. How do I go about investigating/disputing it if they’re no longer in business?
