I have:
- one credit card in good (positive) standing, although fairly new.
- one PAID collection from an apartment complex ($600) (1+ year old)
- one PAID collection from a cable company ($150) (7 months old)
My average credit scrore is around 580

I have pretty bad credit, lower than yours actually. I had to pay a $100 deposit, which after 6 months if your account is in good standing, they actually applied it to the 7th month’s bill, which was nice. I’m not sure if that’s how much you’ll have to pay as it may change from time to time. Your best shot is just to call them directly and they can tell you over the phone if a deposit applies and how much it is. 1-800-DIRECTV. Hope this helps
