Can having bad credit effect me from getting a job at Circle K stores?

I applied to Circle K gas station for a job.And was just wondering if having bad credit would effect me from getting the job.I got laid off about 8 months ago and havent been able to pay credit card bills.Ive paid car payment loads,its just credit card bills and my old phone plan with verison still needs paid.Would these being unpaid effect this type of job im applying for or any other types of jobs?I hope not because makes it hard to pay them off if i cant get hired because of them being unpaid.

If they don’t perform a credit check- they won’t know so don’t bring it up. If they DO perform a credit check you will have to give them permission. If that is the case, I would explain your situation. If your credit was good before you got laid off they might be understanding, especially with so many in your situation. a0a094
