There is only one way, and that is to pay your bills on time. No short cuts.

Fro starters, pay your bills on time and pay off any unpaid collections. From that point you will be able to maybe get a cell phone in your name, maybe get an apartment in your name and maybe your bank ( make sure you have a bank account) will let you open a credit/debit card account. In a word, be more financially responsible and use financial common sense. broccoli brain

Normally I go into a long essay format right about here explaining the do’s and don’t of credit. This is not going to be one of those times…
The general frame of thought from those who are educated in credit management and how credit works is this; When you need it, you are less likely to get it. If you are well off at the moment, only then are you at the optimal time for applying for any form of credit.
This is not to say that you will always be denied, but if you’ve applied several places as you suggest, and have been denied, then are you are only making your situation worse by continuing to wrack up inquiries on your credit.
If you have been denied, you are entitled to a free credit report from the reporting agency that they inquired to. Get those reports as soon as possible and begin a credit triage. See how bad off you are and go from there…
If you ignore the above and “need” instant credit. Some options would be Pay day advances, Title Loans, or Bad credit loans. I recommend none of the above, but they are in fact, logical ideas…
Good Luck! Robbie

Is all your debt in collections or just late? Do you have any unpaid medical bills? As per the “Fair Credit Repaorting Act”, your allowed one free credit report a year. Go to and scroll down to the bottom of the page and click here for a free credit report. This is a consumer credit report pull and WILL NOT put an inquirie on your credit report. Take a look at all your derogatory items. You might need credit repair services. If you need more information, feel free to contact me at 561-305-8188. Martin M

Obtain a recent copy of your Credit File and go through it with a fine tooth comb. Write to whoever you have had credit from (secured or unsecured) and make them all an offer to discharge any and all liability. For example, I know of one case, whereby the National Westminster Bank plc took £14,500 out of £300,000 and (recently) the High Court has reduced a demand, from, £1,200,000 to £144,000 in favour of the Defendant Debtor. toxic tone

I know where you’re coming from, but there is help available out there. You could start with your bank if you are in good standing with them. There are also pay as you go credit cards available, where you put money on a card and then use that money by using the credit card. It is a secured line. For more info on this go to: Hazel S
