Liz asked: I thought there was a seven year rule in that all bad debt on your credit report “fell off” after 7 seven years. It seems that now it might never go away. I unfortunately do not have a job, no prospects of getting one any time soon. Does any one know of a way to stop this?

aidan_adore asked: I am 3 months behind a credit card payment and they sent me a letter stating they were going to write it off as a bad debt. What does this mean? Do I have the payment still. I am confused as to what this entails.

Marah asked: I have very bad credit. I was very sick for a few years and am still recovering but doing better( I’m still considered disabled). I have a very small income but shouldn’t have trouble paying a phone bill. I’m probably moving to a new area and will need a landline phone. Will I be able to get one? I mean can you get one if you pay a deposit or there a landline service that you can pay for without a credit check? Thanks and please no rude or vulgar comments or answers.

JConfuzed asked: I have heard many people say internal theft is related to bad credit. I am just looking for physical proof to support it other than scenarios and word of mouth.

genpattonwwii asked: What happens if the Navy sees I have bad credit when checking for my security clearance? Do I have to choose from another job or just be placed into one that I have no choice over??? Somebody please let me know what to expect I have no criminal record but I know there is credit checks and I know my credit is not good at all.
Okay and if they sit me down and ask me to explain can I still get the job possibly or does that step already mean its not happening?
